1. Favourite Candle scent

I don't burn candles...but I like caramel smelling things during fall.

2. Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate?

I drink Tea everyday. But on special occasions I'll drink hot chocolate.

3. Favourite fall memory?

When I was younger and all of my sisters weren't married/in college my sisters and I used to make leaf houses, that was always fun.

4. Which trend? Dark lips or winged eyeliner.

Dark lips, no question. I can't do eyeliner.

5. Best fall fragrance?

Lately I've been wearing Be Enchanted by Bath and Body Works.

6. Favourite Thanksgiving food?

I really like stuffing, but my sister always makes a cheese ball for Thanksgiving and that may take the cake.

7. What is Autumn weather like where you live?

Like, stereotypical fall weather. Leaves change colour, it gets colder, lots of scarves, mittens, layering, its overcast a lot.

8. Most worn Sweater

This one! I've lived in it.

9. Must have nail polish for fall?

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?

Leaf piles.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?

Both?

12. Combat boots or Uggs?

Depends on the day. Usually Uggs.

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?

I don't drink coffee, but every other pumkin spice flavoured thing I've had is.

14. Favourite fall tv show?

Uh...

15. What song really gets me into the fall spirit?

Originally it was Chocolate by The 1975 however, now I think its Through the Dark by One Direction.

Hello!

It's Monday here on this non wittily{< is that real?} named blog!

And you don't know what that means because we've never done this before!

To be honest I don't know what it means either.

But we're going to talk about One Direction!

Why??

Because its been a weekend LOADED with them of course!

And now the release of their newest album

Now to be fair, I didn't watch the AMA's but from what I've heard

they won favourite Pop/Rock album with 

"Take Me Home"

and

favourite Pop/Rock group.

Aww so proud of the boys.

They beat out Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift for this one.

These boys have been doing quite well when it comes to awards this year

with taking homes various awards such as

best song of the summer at the VMA's

and

best pop at the EMA's

and with our very own Harry Styles snagging best look.

Speaking of style,

I can't even begin to explain how truly entertaining this was.

The boys really showed how much they love their fans.

Overall it was a very "productive" and entertaining day.

And now, on to TODAY.
Today is November 25, 2013
and One Direction's newest album
Midnight Memories
has just been released.
First off
this album's sound is quite different from their previous records.
It really shows how much the boys have matured and grown as artists.
However we still have the over all pop/boy band feel mixed in with the new indie rock sound.
Meaning they're still recognizable.
Seeing as this album has JUST been released I can't give you a proper review quite yet.
We'll just make that a follow up post.
I will, however, tell you this.
So far

37. When I really like a song I will listen to it on repeat 24 hours a day, until I either hate it or find another song to replace it. I do however come back to old songs every few months and the process repeats itself.

Why are so many posts something along the lines of "This is who I am as a person!" Because I have absolutely nothing else to say. I'm not an interesting person {clearly} and I don't have a very interesting life.
Unless Isa and Emma are over then its so intersting that we should have a reality show because we are HILARIOUS.
Anyway.

I'm definitely planning on doing more things along these lines. I don't really have a theme to my blog and honestly I'd like to keep it that way, maybe I'll have a different theme for everyday?

Fairytaleing Prologue

 You know, I never asked to be special. I really didn't. I didn't want to be, I don't want to be. I was never one of those people. No. I didn't want that. Any of it But there comes a time in a person's life where they just have to take a step back, suck it up, and accept what fate has in store for them. Whether you liked it or not. And if we're being perfectly honest, as a general rule I didn't like it.

My name is Shaeli Homston, I'm sixteen years old, and I'm not crazy. This is not a product of night terrors or anxiety. This is just my life.

Growing up, I often wondered why I had to be so different from everyone around me. I never thought that maybe there was a reason I saw the world differently, why things happened to me and not to others. I never understood why I always had to feel like an outcast because I was somehow separated from reality. I would see things, hear things, things that would keep me up at night because I was so scared of what might happen if I closed my eyes. It was not the life that a little girl should have been leading. However, looking back, things began to make sense after a while.

I'm having a difficult time trying to explain these things without sounding like a madman. Don't try and read between the lines and take from this that I hate my life or any other nonsense, I don't. All in all I had an amazing childhood, sure my parents weren't in it, and until recently I didn't remember anything before age seven, but my grandfather loved me and I never wanted for anything. I was very fortunate. I was just troubled. But who isn't in one way or another?

Anyway, I hope this gives you a little bit of insight as to who I am, and why I am the way I am. I'll give you a fair warning:

Don't judge a book by its cover.

Because, why the heck not?

I'm thinking I'll post parts of this every now and again. This will probably be re written again sometime soon.

But for now this is the prologue of my book!! [insert cheering here]

I definitely want to add more to this.

And I probably will.

Well hello

I have no idea how to title ANYTHING.

But really,

hello

it's been a while.

I have a super extra special post coming soon,

to hold you over

{and because its really not special at all}

I'm blogging right now.

To be honest I have no idea how to go about this blogging thing.

I could gush about Harry Styles

but who wants that really?

But that is currently what my life consists of

Anyway, I'm writing a book. Right? Yes! That's a thing!

It is a thing that is in progress and actually almost has a sold plot line!

Its beautiful.

But even that I can't say much about.

However, it feels real good to be writing again.

Even if most of it is rubbish

but WRITING nonetheless.

Its a good thing.

at this current moment my ankle is swollen up like a balloon

and

my hair is driving me mental.

I'm also listening to One Direction but that's beside the point.

I don't know how to use tumblr

I feel like that is a notable thing to mention.

I'm trying to learn because I'd like to get more involved in that.

But I'm clueless as to how to work the bloody thing.

{Hi I'm in America so I can say that, I'll have none of this "That's a bad word!" nonsense.}

I had my first dance performance yesterday.

I also rolled my ankle yesterday

which caused the swelling like a balloon.

However, I didn't roll it at my performance

{As if I could be SO lucky}

No,

I rolled it just before I had to leave.

It was rough

absolute rubbish

and I'm just so angry at myself.

 The performance went quite well, all things considered.

a few hiccups here and there

but overall good.

My ex was there.

Why am I telling you this??

It was interesting.

I do like seeing him,

but things are...

complicated.

Oh well.

He was very concerned over my condition.

But he should know better than to tell me to not dance.

There will be none of that.
