I didn't know what to write today.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't the thing to write today.

ugh.

Today's Real Talk Topic is...

Shipping.

And no, not of the package kind.

~

Let's talk about shipping.

I know you know what it is.

And if you don't,

that's a real cute rock you live under.

For those of you who do live under cute rocks,

shipping is when you take two characters/people/objects/whatevs

and decide that they should be involved in some sort of relationship.

More often than not, its of the romantic type.

Now that we have that figured out,

lets talk about some like..

Pros and cons

and some general rules

of shipping.

I'm going to list a few things that are

OKAY

and

NOT SO OKAY.

About shipping.

OKAY.

Shipping two men together.

Shipping two women together.

Shipping a man with a woman.

Shipping a woman with a man.

Sharing your ship with people who might find it interesting.

Respecting others opinions and ships.

Politely explaining why you ship something that someone else may not.

Writing fan fics or creating fan art of your ship/OTP.

Respecting a person(s) personal boundaries.

Having fun with the fandom.

NOT OKAY.

Telling two men that they have to be together no matter what!!

Telling two women that they have to be with each other no matter what!!

Telling a man and a woman that they have to be with each other no matter what!!

Telling a woman and a man that they have to be together no matter what!!

Telling your ship that they can only date each other and that if they don't they are wrong!

Telling other people that their opinion/ship is wrong.

Yelling at/attacking/or bullying someone who has a different ship than you.

Making your ship/OTP uncomfortable!!

Disregarding a person's feelings because they're your “OTP”

Taking things too far.

Now that we've established that lets talk pros and cons.

Pros

Getting to know new people who share your interests and ideas.

Discussing theories with people who understand what you mean.

Being surrounded by a community.

Cons

Ignorant people.

Try to keep these things in mind.

Realise that not everyone is going to agree with you

and that you're not going to agree with everyone else.

Don't make that an issue.

Make friends.

Be kind.

Respect other people.

Understand that your OTP may not be comfortable with you shipping them

and respect their boundaries.

This is so so so so so so so important.

RESPECT PEOPLE'S BOUNDARIES!!

Okay

I think that's as far into this topic as I'm going to go for now.

Mostly because

I know someone is going to get offended by this.

And also

I want to this be concise.

Steal My Girl.

And Imma gonna be real with you.

Its not my favourite.

But like,

Its not even bad.

Its actually pretty good.

Its just not my favourite.

And I may have ruined it by playing non stop when it was released.

Details, details.

SMG, for me, is very reminiscent of their sound in 2011.

Can we all respect that?

Its also been out the longest so its the one last I want to listen to the least.

Because I've heard it the most.

Next song.

Ready to Run

When I first heard this song

I thought I was listening to

Story of My Life.

And I Swooned.

I was like YASSSS.

It's definitely one of my favourites on the album.

I feel like they reached for this song,

and took risks with it

and nailed it.

Its awesome.

I haven't gotten tired of it yet.

Ugh.

I love it.

Its just a much deeper sound than I'm used to hearing from them.

Where Do Broken Hearts Go.

I honestly don't have enough good things to say about this song.

Its phenomenal.

The lyrics are great. Ily hazzabear

I just want to know the story behind this song.

As with a few others, but we'll get there.

So naturally its great,

Its simple.

It doesn't need a lot of background noise.

Its simple and clear.

And its just so good.

I actually screamed.

This is one of my favourite on the album.

Possibly my actual favourite.

Its so good.

And it sounds so nice.

and if I’m pretending they're talking to me then no one has to know

But also, it makes me kinda sad.

Because this song is pretty upbeat.

But like...how many times have they done this?

Basically begged someone to stay with them longer so that they don't have to be alone.

This is something I think about a lot.

Because they're just regular guys..

Okay I'm stopping before this goes too far.

All I have to say about this song is that its so sweet that it was written for a girlfriend.

So sweet.

Its also a chill song.

But it didn't stand out to me.

Whoops.

But I like how much it meant to him.

The lyrics show how much thought was put into it.

It is a bit cocky though

I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Once in a Lifetime

This isn't a song that I remember very often.

But I do like it.

I like all of them.

But this one is a nice

rainy day

And I appreciate those songs.

Its just like mellow and chill

and I like it a lot.

When I hear this song I just imagine all of the boys

and just having fun.

And I love it.

Here's the thing..

I dunno what those are.

Um...

what even happened this year.

Um..I got to dance as Odette in my end of year dance recital in May.

I went on tour with my dance company for two months.

My bestie left on her mission for the Lds church.

One Direction released FOUR 

expect a review on that eventually.

I got out of an unhealthy relationship.

So that's good.

I turned 19.
I reconnected with old friends.

Those can all be favourite things.

My favourite

pattern was stripes

colour was blue #always

Eye colour changed from blue to green thanks Harry Styles

Chapstick was EOS sweetmint

Style of shoe was ballet flats

Youtuber was Tyler Oakley go look him up if you don't already know who he is.

Favourite song was..too many.

Favourite movie was If I Stay

Henna. I don't know what category to put that in.

Tumblr is a favourite.

um...

sure...

if I keep doing this

its going to go on for wayyyy too long.

So we're going to call that good.

*New Years Resolutions*

Well hello there everyone.

And welcome to my blog.

Its Thursday here.

Which means its a

but...you probably don't know that yet.

Oops.

Chances are some of you have been here before

but hopefully some of you are new.

Anyway

these are my

New Years Resolutions.

Let's get started.

I think an important thing to do when making a resolution

is to keep it specific enough

so you actually know what you're doing.

Example.

Eat 2 carrots a day.

As opposed to.

Eat more carrots.

Chill?

However,

it is good to keep that generalisation in mind so that on a day where you don't eat two carrots

you can still remember that originally your goal was to eat more carrots

and eating one carrot

is still more than eating none.

~

1. Write more

~ Write something everyday

~Get a blogpost up more often than not

2. Do the YouTube

~Create content

3. Be healthy

~No excuses.

~Eat two carrots everyday

Listen to good music

~enrich myself in things that I find important

Take some time to focus on me.

Learn to say 'No' unapologetically.

Understand that I can't please everyone.

LOVE MYSELF.

This went deeper than I had hoped.

Ugh.
